We have some amazing news! A brand new event for 2021; The EJMSL Championships.
This will be a 2-day event held on 1st & 2nd of May 2021, with just 4 players invited to participate. Those 4 players will compete in up to 8 or 9 different sporting events over the 2 days. We have partnered with the guesthouse Bay Lodge (rated 5 star on TripAdvisor) in Birchington, Kent to provide all 4 competitors with an outstanding 2 days that will include:
1 night's FREE accommodation at the 5 star reviewed Bay Lodge
FREE sporting venues. (Includes golf course, tennis courts, pool tables etc)
A chance at winning our 'champion of champions' trophy
FREE food & drink at the end of championship awards ceremony
FREE EJMSL welcome pack of goodies on arrival
FREE EJMSL 'kit' (t-shirts etc)
Each player is allowed to invite another person to join them - their partner, friend, physio or anyone of their choosing
A word on one of our partners. The Bay Lodge in Minnis Bay is a outstanding guesthouse, and just 100m from the seafront (in case our players fancy a fresh dip in the sea). Their rooms all have:

So who will the 4 players be?
Our most successful Clapham, London MSL Champion
Our most successful Medway, Kent MSL Champion
Our most successful Verbier, Switzerland MSL Champion
Our next best MSL Champion/Wildcard Entry
For example, if we were to hold the event right now, three of the players would be Mark Grimwood (Medway Champ x2), Elliot Jones (Verbier Champ x4), Reece Foxon (Clapham Champ x1) and our next best competitor would be Shiel Dadrah (former Medway champ), as he is the only other player in our history to win a multi-sports league.
How will it work?
Full details will be announced closer to the time, but we know there will certainly be between 7-9 different sporting events, including all the sports we offer (badminton, darts, golf, pool, snooker, squash, table tennis & tennis). Players can choose which events to enter, although they will be encouraged to take part in all, with their top 6 events making up their points total. The winner of each event will gain 4 points, the runner-up 3 points, 3rd place 2 points, and last place 1 point. With 0 points awarded if a player doesn't take part in the event.
It will also be a standout event for fans of EJMSL and fans of the players participating. We will have a media team that will run interviews in the build-up to the tournament, plus live interviews during and after the tournament. Our media team will also take questions from those watching and live footage will be shown of the different sporting events.
We hope this event is a huge success, and we plan to run it every year, making it bigger and better, and opening it up to more players. Want to have a chance of playing? All you have to do is enter your local multi-sports league.
