About the Founder

"EJ MSL acts as a platform where like minded sports enthusiasts can meet and play against each other in a fun and competitive environment

EJ Multi Sports Leagues was founded by Elliot Jones. Elliot was born in Gravesend, Kent and has lived in Kent nearly all his life. He also has a strong connection to Verbier, Switzerland, having spent 7 winters and 5 summers in the Swiss Alps.

EJMSL is founded on Elliot's passion of organising top class sporting events to those at a lower playing level.

"I've always been quite good at most sports, but I've never truly excelled at one in particular. Being an ultra competitive person, it had always been a dream of mine to compete in a sport at a professional level, but I could never focus all my attention on just one. Throughout my life I've always found myself organising & running lots of different sporting events, and I have quite a few friends who, like me are talented at most sports. I think generally everyone knows someone who was that guy or girl in school who was always good at everything. This is how I came up with the idea for the Multi Sports League. An opportunity for men and women to compete in multiple sports against each other, giving them the chance to experience different sports, not just one, competitively and whilst having fun. If I can help people to participate in sport, improve their physical & mental health, then I'll be a happy man.

I personally am really looking forward to competing in my local league, I'll be choosing Darts and Tennis for sure, but haven't yet decided on my 3rd sport, I want to try and be a MSL Champion too"

Elliot has always been an organiser of various sports tournaments, starting his own sporting tournaments with his family as young as the age of 12 and going on to create his first proper event in 2006 at the age of 16 called the 'EJ Tennis Tournament' which only involved 8 players, but by 2009 it reached a high of 44 players and EJTT still runs today, with its results accepted by the Lawn Tennis Association. He also organised an annual 5 aside football tournament from 2009-2015 and the Verbier Singles Darts Championship in 2017. That's to name just a few of the different events and tournaments that he has created, organised and ran mostly on his own. His passion for sport, organising & statistics is widely known by everyone that knows him.

Elliot is also a qualified LTA tennis referee and a qualified BASI ski instructor, and would also like to gain his football coaching badges one day in the future.
